Our 1,000 square foot banquet facility is perched on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, giving the banquet guests a spectacular panoramic view of the water below. Our banquet room is highly customizable and can seat up to 80 guests for dinner and accommodate up to 120 guests for a meeting, depending on your seating preferences.  So, whether you are planning an anniversary party or a business meeting, we can match the room to fit your needs.

Our restaurant is perched on top of a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  So whether you are dining in our restaurant, lounge, or heated patio you will experience a breathtaking view of Avila Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Relax and enjoy the sunset while listening to the surf crashing below or enjoy watching as whales, dolphins, seals and otters that occasionally pass by.

About Us

Situated on the stunning bluffs of Pismo Beach , overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean, the Spyglass Inn Restaurant, a local favorite since 1984, offers magnificent views from the famous Oceano Dunes north to Avila Beach Bay .

Relax and enjoy the afternoon sun’s golden rays spread across the water to the sunset dusk and clear starry nights while listening to the surf crashing below and view the whales, dolphins, seals and otters that occasionally pass by.

Spyglass Inn Restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner daily 7:00am until 9:00pm in our dining room, the lounge and outdoor patio deck, heated for any chilly mornings and evenings.

The Lunch and Dinner menu features local seafood favorites, prime cuts of meat, sumptuous salads, the famous Hot Crab and Shell Beach Fish sandwiches, and the Fish & Chips are “the best in the area.”

The Breakfast menu offers all the best omelets, Specialty Egg dishes, and breakfast combos adding pancakes and French toast styled to any particular taste.

The Spyglass Inn Lounge stocks a full bar, with numerous specialty drinks on the menu, plus an extensive wine list, featuring local wines

The Restaurant is available for special functions and our banquet menus can be customized for events for up to 125 guests.

The Pismo Bluffs setting offers the perfect spot for an unforgettable wedding ceremony and reception. The combination of ocean clear skies provides a picturesque backdrop to remember forever in photos.

California Coastal Restaurants, owned by Doug and Susan Redican, notable Central Coast restaurateurs, includes Ciao Bella Trattoria and Rose’s Bar & Grill in Morro Bay and the Spyglass Inn Restaurant in Shell Beach .  The Redicans are graduates of California Polytechnic State University , San Luis Obispo .
